Serving as a City Year AmeriCorps member is a complex and challenging, yet rewarding commitment. Your role is designed to help students build the social-emotional and academic skills to achieve their goals.

At City Year, we believe education has the power to help every student reach his or her potential. But, in high-poverty communities, there are external factors and obstacles students are faced with every day that can interfere with their ability to both get to school and show up ready and able to learn. 

City Year Milwaukee believes the greater support we provide our AmeriCorps members, the greater impact they have on our students.
